JIC STARCUBE is the longest-running Czech accelerator. “In 5 years we have supported 62 projects, which have received almost 5 million dollars in investment from the private sector,” said Vojtech Krmicek, the head of startup programme at JIC.
Recently ranked among the TOP 20 most active accelerators in Europe by Fundacity, JIC STARCUBE has plenty of successful alumni to prove its ranking. One of them is Skypicker, an Internet search system for cheap flight tickets in Europe, was featured in Businessinsider just a couple of days ago.
JIC STARCUBE supports teams and startups with innovative ideas related to Internet of Things or ICT Security. You can expect an intensive 3 months full of seminars, workshops and consultations with mentors. There are more than 80 experienced consultants to choose from.
The accelerator offer their participants 2 packages of financial assistance. “We provide each team with up to € 1 800 for development, prototyping, and product testing. You can also spend the money on services associated with developing your company. These include legal and tax advice and the services of a graphic designer and a copywriter. Up to two members of each team also have each month a right to 100 euros to cover basic living costs,” explained Vojtech.
The second package will cover the cost of travel for up to two members of your team in the amount of a maximum of € 350. Apart from this, JIC STARCUBE will pay the accommodation costs for two members of your team up to the amount of € 100 per person per month. To summarise, you can enjoy benefits worth up to € 4,100. The price of the programme is only a 2% share in your company.
