Jaroslav is a partner at HAVEL & PARTNERS. His practice focuses primarily on venture capital and private equity, including investments in start-ups and (bio)tech companies. Jaroslav himself is also the co-founder of a start-up and has a great understanding of the challenges faced by their founders. Jaroslav is a regular lecturer for start-ups and their investors, runs his own blog and participates in various events within the Czech venture community.

Before joining HAVEL & PARTNERS, he worked for several years for a Czech boutique law firm specialising primarily in M&A and advised one of the most prominent Czech private equity groups. Prior to that, he worked for a number of years in the Czech office of an international magic circle law firm.
