Hanka has a decace long experience as a startup consultant and lecturer. Previously (from 2012 to 2018) she was mainly focused on organizing JIC StarCube - the first startup accelerator in the Czech Republic and also of one of the biggest local startup events at the time - StarCube Show. Following the accelerator she started a consultation programme for first time entrepreneurs JIC Enter and in later she added courses and events for early stage entrepreneurs to inspire them and help them with a healthy start of their business. For past couple of years Hanka is managing an innovation ecosystem conference Velvet Innovation, annual event that connects entrepreneurs, representatives of corporations, academia, NGOs and public sector. Each year they discuss the topic of business, innovation and sustainability of the whole system, finding new business opportunities in upcoming technological and social trends and getting inspired by speakers from both CZ and abroad. Besides managing this event she still consults and mentors startups, organizes seminars and workshops about entrepreneurship and satisfies her creative self by hosting JICTalk - a podcast for and about entrepreneurs.
